Contrast team with Matthias Reich as well Felix Öhlinger and Andreas Tucek hit the road to Split in Croatia to collect footage for the new movie of Matthias.
Joined by tyrolean machine Alex "The G" Geisler and Sascha Biehaule as well as viennese pro skateboarder Daniel Spiegel completed the trip.
With professional photographer Sebastian Reich in the package we hit the road to Split with two cars. Unfortunately on day one Andreas shot a hang up on a ledge which the approached with nearly lightspeed and hurt is ankle
badly.
Sad but true. The trip was over for him!
Nevertheless he joined us from spot to spot on cruches figuring out which tricks to do when he will be back as soon as possible next year.
With our big apartment with garden and barbecue for shure as well as the relaxing rocky beach and beautiful girls we had a faboulous week.
Split we miss you. And I believe Andreas the most.

Back to Barcelona
We have been so many times to spain with our team and specially to Barcelona but this week was completly different.
It was not a holiday at all. It was more like wake up early and kill it the whole day till late night.
Many hard tricks were going down from Matthias Reich up to Marco Kada Andreas Tucek Me and as well Sascha Biehaule.
Also special thanks to Martin Potocnik for filming.
First we decided to go by train to Verona because the flight from there was quite cheaper then from Munich or Vienna.
But at least I can say this was not the best idea we had because it was a really struggle until we arrived in spain.
But we had a pretty good time at. We captured a hell a lot of footage and lifestyle pics.
The real party was going on every night at our flat which one was pretty awesome and gigantic.

Tales from the caribbean pirate scene
First of all. It was my first trans atlantic trip into a completely different world at the other side of the globe.
The first thing that I learned was to try to never stop by in the united states. If you do not intend to stay there. Those homeland security guys are crazy!
Finally all the stress left behind in the States I stepped out of the plane in Panama city airport after a 26 hours travel looking forward to enjoy five weeks of adventure far from home.
By the way Panama with its 40 degrees celsius the nice weather the friendly people and low prices as well as a lot of sexy girls is worth a visit.
The first nights we were staying in a cheap motel in the really worst neighborhood of panama city I have ever seen. Maybe to stay there was a mistake an so we payed the price and got robbed in the first 3 days of our trip. But the impression was worst it.
Finally our friend arrived at panama city and we moved to a small village with a beautiful beach.
There we met a old Canadian guy called Joe, who invited us to stay at his place for free as long as we wanted. So we had a comfortable homebase to start our explorations of Panama.
I also met a camera team from a Panamanian extremsports channel called Secuencia Extrema who ask me for an interview and filmed some tricks with me in the local miniramp at the surfcamp. It was a great session.
Nevertheless skateboarding in Panama was pretty hard. Just rough ground and not so many good spots around to skate. And the burning sun is not so funny as it sounds. But hey.. it was fun!
I met a lot of local skaters who showed me some spots and ramps. Thanks for that guys.
And of course those guys who know me well know also that I don't start a trip without my fishing rod. Nevertheless fishing in Panama not having a boat was not so easy as I thought.
I had to climb a lot of rocks to catch some small sharks and blow fishes. in the end great fun and a tasty meal.
The rest of the trip was more like to have party every day, drive home from the disco with 10 other people on a pick up truck taxi like Mexican refugees. Enjoy the big waves on a surfboard.
Enjoy the sun and the beach to drink beer with a cop and a drugdealer on the same table. To sleep in a hangmat and survive a severely earthquake in my opinion 4.6 on Richter scale.
Finally five weeks in panama have gone by like one week. It was very hard for me to think about to go back to the cold snowy Europe.
But now I am back and I write this lines for you to give you a explanation of what Panama can be. Marvelous

The contrast team stopped over in vienna this weekend. We checked out good old Oberlaa on Friday and had a great session together though
we partied the whole night till sunrise. Weather was cold rainy and real shit but it cleared up and the sun was starting to shine as soon we reached
Oberlaa after a driving Odysse.

contrastskateboards team and affiliates attended the final round of the restart skateboard classics in St. Poelten.
With Matthias Reich and David Diendorfer as well as Michael Hoeglinger and the rest of the crew we had a perfect
weekend with lot's of beer party and yeah for shure...skateboarding. Dominik Hell Weltzl was great moderating the contest.
We camped in Sebastians caravan straight in front of the arena where we got busted by the cops for having a shower outside the caravan. Because of that we missed the pricegiving ceremony.
Those cops really heavily suck.
First time we payed 20 Euros for having a shower. Well. Think this was a expensive one. :-)

We arrived yesterday night in Geneve. We checked out the city today and found a lot of spots.
The only thing is that Matthias is feeling a little sick and also the weather was really bad today - rain rain rain.
But we are looking forward for tommorow - checked some pills and sprays for Matthias troath and the weather forecast told us it is getting warmer and sunny!

We headed to Basel wednesday night.
Photographer Christian Kramer is travelling with me.
Our first stop was Basel to compete at the European Skateboard Championships.
Schuetzi build up a really huge and nice park. After the quali run we checked some spots around Basel.
This city is amazing for skateboarding, chillin, and party.
Matthias: so many beautiful girls - unbelievable!
Tomorrow we are starting our film and photomission in Laussane and Geneve.

Contrast team retured from Tirol on Sunday after having on of the toughest parties survived in the western region.
There was a lot of rain it was freezingly cold outside and so we
decided to cancel the shooting on Saturday and relax in the SPA. Luckily we got good weather again on Sunday and so we gladly had on more day to get some images.
Nevertheless Dominik Hell Weltzl killed his ankle after a bs tailslide on a rail and Matthias sacked while doing a bs smith some hours later we had a good trip together.
Recover well Dominik. We need you for Barcelona.
